German School of the East Bay

This class is designed for toddlers from 18 months up to 4 years. Each child needs to be accompanied by a German speaking adult.  

Every lesson has a diversified structure, with special topics like “unser Haus” or “Obst und Gemüse.”   There are finger games and songs, integrating lots of body movements to encourage learning.  We play games, have story time and do simple art projects. Children are playfully introduced to numbers, colors, body parts, animals, seasons, to name a few.

Class materials consist of song sheets, art supplies, story books and toys. A music CD to take home lets the children  enjoy and  further practice the songs they learned.  Playing these songs in the car or at home will reinforce their enjoyment of learning German.
