Hello & Guten Tag!

We are The German Saturday School of the East Bay, teaching German at all levels to interested individuals of all ages.

The German School of the East Bay is a nonprofit organization, serving the East Bay since 1962. We offer high quality classes with a low tuition. We are located on the grounds of the Excelsior German Center at the Altenheim (1699 Excelsior Blvd., Oakland) and are easily accessible from all areas of the East Bay. Driving Directions.

Our doors are open to everyone who wants to learn the German language and learn about the German culture.
