Course Description:

This class is for  children at the pre-kindergarten level, with little or no previous experience with German.
The class is conducted in a playful and relaxed environment.  Each child is encouraged to speak a word or sentence in a creative and playful way through songs they learn, playing games, and  a variety of activities that children will enjoy.  They also learn letters of the alphabet and listen to simple stories.  By the end of the school year, children will know numbers, colors, and express simple phrases in German.

To help your children be successful in learning German, parents are encouraged to practice with them for about 5 minutes each day the words and/or sentences learned in class. There will be handouts and lists of words and sentences learned in class.
