Course description: This class is a beginning German  class  for older students ranging from 5 through approximately 7 grade.  Students will learn basic language functions in German, as for example, introducing oneself, asking simple questions and answering. The class engages in craft projects matching various holidays, plays games to practice language functions,  sing German songs and read simple stories and poems.  Basic grammar and vocabulary are taught to support the language functions introduced.
