This course introduces the adult student to basic German language functions ranging from greetings, to asking questions about time and places, and conduct simple conversations about basic everyday topics like well-being and food and drinks in a German speaking environment. Students will learn about German culture, daily life, cities, families, tourism, and some geography. Basic grammar and vocabulary appropriate to the beginning level are taught.
Students are expected to spend time outside of the classroom to do homework and practice what was learned in class. Students are expected to do homework in order to assure their progress in German.
